Reconfigure Six-Payment Terminal

The following instructions will help you to connect the Six terminal to the Subsidia POS.

In preparation: Please carry out a daily closing via the terminal or the app beforehand, otherwise the terminal will block the reconfiguration of the terminal.

Instructions for reconfiguring the Terminal

1. Find your IP range

click "Start"

put in "cmd"

press "ENTER"

put in "ipconfig"

press "ENTER"

  • note IP-Range (third number block, 192.168.001.xxx)

  • note Subnet number

  • note Gateway number

IP-Range: 192.168.001.xxx

Subnet: 255.255.255.000

Gateway: 192.168.001.001

2. click on Menu

3. Enter the terminal password (usually 5 characters)

confirm with "OK"

(FYI: If you don't know the password, you may call SIX support on 0800 111 600)

4. Choose “Setup

and confirm with "OK"

5. Choose “TRM Reset

and confirm with "OK"

6. enter the Z-Password "1235789"

and confirm with "OK"

7. confirm with "OK"

8. confirm with "OK"

9. Choose “ECR Integrated

and confirm with "OK"

10. Choose “LAN

and confirm with "OK"

11. Choose “LAN

and confirm with "OK"

12. confirm with "OK"

13. Choose “Static IP

and confirm with "OK"

14. Confirm with "OK"

15. ​Enter die IP of your Termin (Eg: 192.168.1.190)(see first step) we recommend .190 for the terminal


and confirm with "OK"

16. Enter the IP Network Mask of your Network (Eg: 255.255.255.0) (see first step)

and confirm with "OK"

17. Enter the Default Gateway of your network (Eg: 192.168.1.1) (see first step)

and confirm with OK

18. Enter the DNS Server 1 of your network (Eg: 4.4.4.4)

and confirm with "OK"

19. Enter the DNS Server 2 of your network (Eg: 8.8.8.8)

and confirm with "OK"

20. confirm with "OK"

21. Review the information

and confirm with "OK"

22. Review the information

and confirm with "OK"

23. confirm "serv.ep2.telekurs.com"
with "OK"

24. confirm Server TCP Port Number "8953" with "OK"

Write down the terminal identification (TID) on the back of your terminal - usually 8 characters

25. Enter the Terminal Identification (=TID) from the previous step

Important: This must be entered correctly!

and confirm with "OK"

The terminal will update and reboot itself. If this was successful, you will be welcomed with a "Willkommen" on the screen.

Further information on testing the terminal

26. After the reconfiguration, update the IP information in the Admin App under "Shifts"

  • Activate Checkbox Card Payment "SIX"

  • In "Terminal-IP" enter the new IP of the terminal

  • activate Checkbox "neueste TIM-SDK"

27. Open the POS-App and log off and then on again.

For testing: open the shift "online"
