Here we briefly explain how a new IP can be configured on the label printer (Zebra620d). Depending on the model, this can be done directly via the printer or via the web interface.
However, the printer preparation for commissioning is the same in both cases:
Printer preparation commissioning
Unpack the printer
Connect the printer to the power supply
Connect the printer to the switch using the network cable (do not use a USB cable)
Switch on the printer (button top left)
IP address becomes visible on the display (192.168........) β can take a long time!!!!
Printer without display: search for IP with Advanced IP Scanner
Configuration via printer
Set a fixed IP on the device via printer:
1: Click on the left below to access the settings |

2: Go to the network settings |
|
3: Press 4x right to the WIRED IP ADDRESS to set the IP by clicking NEXT --> IP 192.168.1.185 [Right] Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 [Right] Wired Gateway: 192.168.1.1 |

5: Press [Right] WIRED IP PROTOCOL, then press the upwards arrow to set the connection mode to PERMANENT |

6: Click to the right until you reach RESET NETWORK, then click RESET to save the settings |

7: Click through again and check whether IP: 192.168.1.185, Gateway: 192.168.1.1 and Wired IP Protocol: Permanent are saved. |

Configuration via web interface
Set a fixed IP on the device via the web interface:
1: Search for IP with Advanced Scanner (for printers without a display)

2: Enter the IP address in the browser and trust the page to be redirected
(example for Google Chrome) |

3: Log in and open the network configuration
Username: admin Password: 1234 |
|
4: Save the following changes:
IP address - e.g. 192.168.1.185 Internet gateway - e.g. 192.168.1.1 Protocol ---> Always permanent
The IP address and Internet gateway are customised according to your network.

5: Click on "Display and change printer settings" |

6: Click on "Save current configuration"
Restart the device.
Important: The changes are only applied once the printer has been restarted. To do this, disconnect the power cable for approx. 5 seconds and then reconnect the printer. |
